after updating FF, all websites say "this website does not supply identity information" - why?
previous versions of firefox have either shown the firefox logo or the company's logo to the left of the address. now there is a grayed out globe. is this safe to use/how do i fix this?

You will only see that information if there is a secure HTTPS connection.

thank you for replying - that's helpful info and from the comments on the links you included it seems like a lot of others are not thrilled with this new change either.
