I uninstalled firefox to remove ask.com but i cant get firefox to redownload

a small orange dialoge box comes up at the very bottom of the screen, I press run and it says its running a security check then goes awaw. Thats all I get. I checked my download folder and there is nothing there

Please try this link: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/

Instead of Run, you can choose Save as and save to the desktop for example, or Save to the default download folder.

Hi Msonlin - I believe I can help with that. Please try this:

- Hold down the Shift button and while doing so Click on the Firefox icon on your desktop or from your Start menu. - If done correctly the "Firefox Safe Mode" box will appear. - Within this box, check the boxes next to "Reset all user preferences to Firefox defaults" and "Restore default search engines". - Then, click on the now-highlighted 'Make Changes and Restart" button.
