How do I turn off Sync? I have never used it and and I don't have an account.
Every time I use FF, I get a dialog box about remembering the password. How do I disable the sync feature?

You can find the installation path of all plugins on the about:plugins page.
You can check the Flash player installation folder for multiple Flash player plugins and remove all (older) version(s) of the plugin (NPSWF32) and (re)install the latest Flash player.

- (64 bit Windows) C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\

The remember password box isnt sync this is only a facility of Firefox
Try go to Tools>>Options>>Privacy>> in the option Firefox will: change to Never Remember history, you will need restart Firefox
