Hi rizw4n
I'm positive that this is not a default Firefox plugin but it most likely got installed with something else, perhaps an extension. The fact that there is no information on it anywhere on the Web doesn't sit well with me. Can you try to scan for malware using the tools below, just in case?
- Microsoft Safety Scanner
- MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware
- TDSSKiller - AntiRootkit Utility
- Hitman Pro
- ESET Online Scanner
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.
Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.
If the tools above come up empty, it's safe to leave it disabled or uninstall it completely. You might want to check in the Control Panel > Programs to see if it's uninstallable.
Also, can you give me your troubleshooting information so I can try to pin that file on a certain extension, if any?
- Click the Firefox button at the top left, then click the Help menu and select Troubleshooting Information from the submenu. If you don't have a Firefox button, click the Help menu at the top and select Troubleshooting Information from the menu.
Now, a new tab containing your troubleshooting information should open.
- At the top of the page, you should see a button that says "Copy text to clipboard". Click it.
- Now, go back to your forum post and click inside the reply box. Press Ctrl+V to paste all the information you copied into the forum post.
Moses B. thank you very much for your detailed answer , i scanned using microsoft security essentials but nothing came up and here are troubshouting information with ky plugin disabled

iWebar seems to be some kind of adware/malicious addon. I'm not sure but that could be where the ky_plugin is coming from. Can you try uninstalling iWebar by pressing CTRL + SHIFT + A, go to Extensions, find iWebar and click Remove. Finally restart Firefox to finalize the uninstallation. After that, you should be good to go.
