Got a new computer. Old one crashed. Copied all files from the old HD. Now I want to use the bookmarks again in Firefox. The bookmarks import function does not help, as it only allows 1 by 1 import. So I want to copy all my bookmarks into the new Firefox browser..... How to do that?

Are you trying to import the IE Favorites in the Favorites folder?

Your Firefox profile folder is in this location (substitute X with the drive letter of the old drive):

  • X:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\<profile>\

Note that the "AppData" folder in Windows Vista and later Window 7+ versions and the "Application Data" folder in XP/Win2K are hidden folders.
