How do I get rid of deals4u?

I'm sick of "deals4u" ads showing up on my browsers obstructing the view of webpages. They're worse than popups, which can at least be blocked. I've tried their uninstall link, without success. I removed the few cookies I could identify with it. Malwarebytes doesn't find it. The few instructions I've found are confusing (or for someone with far greater expertise) or are just ads for tools that look kind of shady (i.e. spyhunter, whose "checkmark" status shown on their website with West Coast Labs is bogus). I am a fairly competent user, but definitely not a techie, so I need simple instructions or a recommendation for a safe tool to use to remove it.

hi , you can try going in the add-on page from your browser and disable it from there ,change the homa page and after that , Delete relevant files and entries C:\program files\appdata\Temp\[random] C:\program files\appdata\Roaming\ Deals4You \uninst.exe HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\uninstall [random] HKCU\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersiom\DisallowRun\[random]

Any mistake like wrong deletion of system files during the manual removal process may lead to irreversible damage to your machine. If you are not familiar with entries stuff, you are kindly reminded to use a professional and certificated removal tool to finish the removal automatically. or you can use Revo Uninstaller or a malware hunter , if that doesn't work , write here :)
