Try to set 'connection security' to 'STARTTLS'.

Thanks but that does not seem to work I get this message Sending of the message failed. An error occurred while sending mail: Unable to establish a secure link with Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp-auth.talktalkbusiness2.net using STARTTLS since it doesn't advertise that feature. Switch off STARTTLS for that server or contact your service provider.

when I look here....http://helpbusiness.talktalk.co.uk/windows-live-mail# They specify the port as 25.

Account Type POP3 Login / Username username@talktalkbusiness.net Incoming Mail server pop3.talktalkbusiness.net Incoming Port 110 Outgoing Mail server smtp.talktalkbusiness.net Outgoing Port 25 Outgoing SSL No Outgoing Authentication Disabled

But those setting would require a get mail before a send and to be connected to the internet using their internet service I would guess.
