I have set MacMail as my mail program, using Yahoo Mail. When I click the little mail envelope logo or icon in the toolbar ir opens MAIL but it opens a "compose" window like I want to compose and send a message. How do I stop this. I just want to see my mailboxes and received messages.

Hi Richard, Firefox does not have a button to call up a different program on your computer, only a few buttons to cause particular interactions, such as sending the link of the current page to someone in a new mail message.

Can you use the Mac's dock to call up your mail program? As a Windows person, I'm not familiar with other options for that.
