Used about:config, seem to have deleted an entry. How do I fix that?

New firefox (57.something, now 58) updated itself two days ago. Now photos won't load. Went to Troubleshooting, followed direction to change "browser.display.use_document_colors" to True. Thought I did it, but went back to check, and now that entire entry is gone. Restarted ff, and it's still gone. How do I fix this?

Chosen solution

Hi

If you go to about:config and right-click on an existing entry, you should be able to select New then Boolean. You can then enter browser.display.use_document_colors followed by an initial setting or True or False

I hope that this helps.

I think that did it. The entry is now back in about:config.

Thank you kindly for your response, Seburo. Much appreciated.
