Firefox does not call TWINUI, and the result is I cannot print downloaded files. Instead, I get an error message "an error occurred during this operation"

Firefox does not allow me to print downloaded and possibly other files. It does not bring up TWINUI, and maybe this is the reason. Using microsoft explorer, TWINUI appears, and printing works fine for the same files. How do I fix this problem. This is a fairly new problem and I only wish that when software works, it does not need software weenies messing with it!!!
