As soon as I enter print mode, Thunderbird crashes. Have reported this problem, to no avail.

OK I see other people have had this problem but that doesn't help me. Need detailed instructions on what to do.

There is no workaround. It is a consequence unfortunately of using beta - things may periodically break. As written in the reference "I am guessing this is fixed in 82." If you cannot wait for 82 which comes out in several days then you should change to mainstream version 78.

How do I change to version 78?

I downloaded the link but several articles are shown. Don't understand your instruction.

open a windows command window. go to the thunderbird program directory do

 thunderbird.exe -P --allow-downgrade

You still have errors when you try to print or what's happening? Did you managed to downgrade TB to v78?

Still have this problem. Wasn't able to downgrade to V78. I'm not a computer guru, so simple instructions on how to do so would be appreciated.

You should download the right version for your computer/operating system from here https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/78.2.2/

On last step of the installation do NOT select to start TB. If you miss this part then on the error about profile click exit.

After installed go to run (search run, select that run app) and write on that small field this: thunderbird --allow-downgrade Press enter and that's all - you'll have 78.2.2 working.
