Each time I use Thunderbird I have to insert a password to download new incoming emails. Also before I can send emails. I want to change this password. How do I do it? I do not use the facility in Thunderbird for saving passwords for other accounts.

Chosen solution

I found the answer on google. I just type in the new password into the box that appears when I start a Thunderbird session. Not the most intuitive method but very simple. Thanks for your trouble.

Do you mean that in the same session TB is keep asking for that account email pass? (where 1 session = from the moment when you open TB software till you close TB software (or computer, off-course)) If yes, then can you mention us what values do you have for these 2 options (from config:editor)? network.cookie.cookieBehavior network.cookie.lifetimePolicy

If I did not understood your question, can you reformulate your request and maybe add also some screenshots?
