Password not working, so can't pull up new emails. Undere Preferences, deleted all passwords in the hope that I would be prompted to enter a new password. No such luck. So now I have no password and no access to new emails. How do I add a new password?

But, how about trying to copy the password from the Login and Password section in the browser and then paste it in Thunderbird. I just had the same issue today.

I've moved the question to Thunderbird support, so no need to create a new question.
