At sometime in the past I had Thunderbird set up so that it would not allow me to send bulk emails from an address list under To; or Cc: ONLY under Bcc:, somehow that setting is no longer working. By mistake I have just sent a bulk email to more than 40 addresses unde Cc:. Previously it was impossible to 'send' using To: or Cc: ONLY using Bcc:. Why has that setting been removed? How can I reset it please.

That feature was provided by an add-on that is not compatible with TB 78. For an alternative, see:
