Missing option on share

When I hit the share button on a site (I discovered this on an album on Flickr), it does give me the option to share to every single app possible on my phone, but I can't just copy the link and place it in my clipboard. That's so frustrating because it is sometimes so much easier to just copy the link into the clipboard and paste it later, even when you want to share it to multiple places so much easier to copy it.

I'm using a OnePlus 9 pro running android 11 (OxygenOs 11.2.9.9.LE15BA).

Hi

if you long press on the website address or a link you can then choose to copy it and paste it as required.

As I said, I click on the share button on an album page on Flickr, and it pops me the share menu from android, it never displays any URL which prevents me from doing that. I think you've never used Flickr from Firefox mobile otherwise you'd have known that it's not possible (at least on mobile).

Hi

You can still long press on the address on a link to copy it to the clipboard and paste it where needed.

You still don't get the point. There is no address displayed it's a share button that opens the share menu of android.

But with the album open on the screen, you can long press on the website address for the album and copy that as required...?

But that's not what I want because the website address is really long meanwhile the url you get with the share button is a shortened url which is what I need. I'm not asking for an alternative solution, I want bug to be fixed.
