Messages marked as spam still come in as clear

Messages that I marked as spam still come in from that sender unmarked and do not go directly into spam folder. In other words, marking them as spam does nothing and is useless. I get dozens of spam messages from particular people trying to get me to buy software or services, and they just keep coming in. (The only way I can manage it at all is to create a filter to have them go directly into a folder for these garbage messages. I've done this for a couple of the senders, and it works. However, they ARE still coming in unmarked and unrecognized as the SPAM that they are.)

If they are actually marked with the word 'spam', they are being filtered by the mail provider, before they're downloaded to TB. Try blocking or blacklisting the senders through the webmail access for the account.
