After installing a failed version 102, system restore returned my Thunderbird to version 91. Great. But the bugs introduced by version 102 have been. Folders in Inbox are no longer sorted alphabetically (so far), while the newly added folder is always placed at the end. How do I restore alphabetical sorting?

Check VIew>sort by>unthreaded (102 may have set it to threaded). The other place to check would be the menu bar at top of message view pane. Clicking 'date' will reverse sort order, so you may need to click once or twice to get it where you want.

It was about sorting folders, not emails. But I solved the problem - I restored the settings in "Sort folders manually".
