I would like to change the default email application, but I followed the directions in Mozilla support & did not have "mailto" in my listing.

You can check the mailto prefs on the about:config page. If any of the mailto prefs is user set (bold) then right-click and Reset that pref to the default value.

You can delete mimeTypes.rdf in the Profile Folder to reset all actions.

See "Reset Download Actions": http://kb.mozillazine.org/File_types_and_download_actions

I did all these things and they didn't work. When I checked the mailto prefs, they were all set to default already. Any other suggestions??
