After installing Firefox Synch. Adobe Acrobat hangs. Remove and is okay. Reinstall, Acrobat hangs. Any suggestions?

I installed Firefox Synch on two Macintoshes, an iMac and a MacBook Pro, both running Lion OS. Running Firefox 7.0.1 and Adobe Acrobat Pro 9.4.6. Synching works fine, but on the MacBook Pro, now Acrobat hangs doing simple chores. Okay again if I remove Synch and problem returns if I re-activate the iMac Firefox Synch. Have restarted and run disk permissions repair. Any suggestions?

Did you install the Firefox Sync extension?

Not needed on a Firefox 4+ version, it is a built-in feature.
