I am running Firefox 12. I usually type anything I am searching for in the address bar. Somehow the default from that went from Google to bing. How can I switch it back to Google?

Your plugins list shows that you have the Bing Bar plugin installed. Did you install any software or add-ons that may have changed your Firefox search settings to Bing, such as a third-party toolbar? See Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page.

Try disabling the Bing Bar in the Add-ons manager Plugins list, check for a toolbar or other add-on in the Extensions list that may be related to the Bing search engine and disable it. You can then reset your search preferences, if necessary. The SearchReset add-on (which is linked from the Remove a toolbar that has taken over your Firefox search or home page article) should reset your Firefox search preferences to the default settings, which would be Google.
