Edit query in awesome bar Firefox for Android

Seems I'm unable to edit queries in awesome bar or choose another search engine. When the query's been done, tapping awesome bar starts editing the address of the page, so that it seems impossible to edit query or make the same query in another search engine. Has there any way to choose of what should be changed - the query or the address

What you are looking to do is not possible in Firefox for Android. The search is an address once the page loads.
