In a New Tab - some tiles stay blank, ie they will not populate with a thumbnail and these are not HTTPS sites. I have followed the instructions here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/thumbnails-on-new-tab-page-are-missing How do I get these tiles to show a thumbnail? Why have a feature that doesn't work properly?

hello, websites can specify that their content shouldn't be cached by browsers - in this case firefox won't create any thumbnails for them at the moment... there is already work ongoing to find a way around that. for reference please see bug bug#756881 (please don't post in bug reports).
