Cannot install any addon on firefox? everything from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/ does not work

I like using the video download helper addon. recently it updated then stopped working all together. so i updated firefox. now wheneve i try to install any addon from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/extensions/ and click the download link this pops up...... An error occurred during a connection to addons.cdn.mozilla.net. The OCSP response is not yet valid (contains a date in the future). (Error code: sec_error_ocsp_future_response). can this be fixed or should i just migrate to other browsers cause the firefox is just contradicting every step I take.

That error message is very specific that Firefox is having a problem comparing the timestamp on a network message to the date/time on your computer.

Could you double-check your system date, time, and time zone? Make sure all three of these are as accurate as possible.
