After installing latest version, the folder pane no longer displays the # of messages in each folder in a column: can I restore that appearance?

Columns in Folder pane vanished on updating to 31.3.0. The pane used to show the folder tree, and then a column for unread messages, and a column for total messages in each folder. That was quite useful. Now, only the number of unread messages in the folders is shown, in parentheses. Is there any way to restore the former format?

You may have had this add-on previously:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1034879

It still seems to work here in TB31.3.0

Look for a tiny square button to adjust its settings. My picture shows the button in the main email listings pane, but the add-on will give you another like this in the folder pane too.

I think the add-on that's needed is this one:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/extra-folder-columns/

It works here in TB 31 & 36, so if you don't have it installed, try it, and if it's already installed, make sure it's enabled, or possibly re-install it.

It may also be that your theme is incompatible with the add-on, although I haven't had that problem.

Downloaded, TB says it's installed, but I don't see the little icon for it. Have to go now, will check on this further tomorrow. Thanks!
