installed Firefox Setup Stub 34.0.5.exe-screen @top flickers, reverts to Firefox Setup 21.0.exe now
installed 34.0.5.exe on 18/12 - the top of screen keeps flickering, so annoying! so i've reinstalled 21.0.exe which does not flicker.

Hello helenang, please update Firefox to the latest version (21.0 is unsupported and vulnerable), and then disable graphics hardware acceleration.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
- Open Firefox Options window as follows:
- click the menu button
and select Options .
- In the Firefox "Options" window, click the Advanced tab, then select General.
- In the settings list, you should find the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
- Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:
