Hi, I have overwritten an older version of Thunderbird on the Mac shown in the question above with the latest version, in response to a prompt. However this new version does not run on this computer... I didn't realize the white circle signified a warning. Now on this computer I have no email. The previous update was sometime in 2012. Can you please advise how I can access and install a suitable older version of Thunderbird. I still have email access on my laptop. Many thanks. Scott

It looks as though version 16.0.2 was the last version for OSX 10.5. As you note, this is a very old release that has not had security patches for the various vulnerabilities it contains. It's hard to recommend using such an old version of Thunderbird, or frankly, any software that renders HTML which hasn't been updated for over two years.

But if you have no choice: http://download.cdn.mozilla.net/pub/mozilla.org/thunderbird/releases/16.0.2/mac/
