A few days ago I started seeing this popup from Malwarebytes ......1/7/2016 12:34 PM, SYSTEM, STAN-PC, Protection, Malicious Website Protection, Domain, 54.173.81.97, zk1.zeroredirect1.com, 8044, Outbound, C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe, ......... What is this, is this FireFox, is this something I should try to get rid of? This has never happened before and have had Malwarebytes for years and FireFox for years, what gives?

A special Google site collects data on bad website reports, and shares that information with browsers and protection programs.
Are you trying to go to that site, or were you redirected there? Do you know what that site is? What it is for?

This site is where a "call home" from FireFox originates, this is not someplace I was trying to go, I know nothing about it.

FredMcD I followed directions on the malwarekillers site and removed what I hoped was the problem. I don't know yet whether I'll get another warning from Malwarebytes doing its job. If I don't I assume the issue is resolved. Many thanks for your help. rubinontheroad
