Since upgrading to windows 10, the taskbar autohide feature of windows OS does not work properly. With the browser open in full screen, moving the cursor down to the bottom of the screen does not cause the taskbar to pop up. This feature worked perfectly in Windows 7 and 8. Any help available is appreciated.

Hi, since this isn't a Mozilla/Firefox question, I'm afraid we won't be able to help you. I suggest you try Windows 10 Forums.

Thank you for your understanding.

On Win7 when Firefox 44.0 is in Full Screen Mode (default Profile with no customizations done), I am unable to "reveal" the Windows Taskbar by moving the cursor to the bottom of the screen. Not sure if that is "new" as of a specific version of Firefox or that's the way it works in Win7 (fairly new to Win7), but my Firefox ESR 38 version (with a ton of customizations) in Full Screen Mode doesn't allow the Windows Taskbar to be "revealed" either when moving the cursor to the bottom of the screen.

Does it make a difference if the Windows Taskbar is set to always show on top or if the Taskbar is locked?

It makes no difference if the Taskbar is locked. As far as I am able to discover, "Taskbar on Top" is not suported in Windows 10.
