i am running thunderbird on a mac book pro. i have used this for years with never a problem. today suddenly i cannot send pdf files. When i attach the file and try to open it before sending it says that it is a portable document. It does not go to open the file but to save it. If I send it, it will not open. it says it is a portable document.

i am running thunderbird on a mac book pro. i have used this for years with never a problem. today suddenly i cannot send pdf files. At which point did you attempt to actually send the message?

Thunderbird doesn't open PDFs. You may ask in an Apple forum for help on that.
