On a forum I follow if I go into a category and then go into a topic in the past I was able to go back to the category by clicking the back button, for the last month or so I now have to hit the back button 3 times. If I right click on the back button the page I am on is listed 3 times. one is the page I am viewing the other 2 are the same page minus adds that are on the page. If I use Chrome I don't have this issue. I like Firefox but have been using Chrome because of this issue.

I activated an adblocker and the problem went away.

Sounds like you found a workaround with a lot to recommend it, but in the interest of science, do you want to post a link to an example page where this happens? I guess it would be a link to the index page and instructions on where to click next... If you need a login to access that area, then "never mind." Thanks.

Here is a link to the forum, open any of the topics and try the back button. For years I didn't have the problem then about 2 months ago I started to have to hit the back button 3 times.

Thanks, I don't know what the ad scripts are doing that could cause that. Maybe a more sophisticated researcher can spot it.
