For quite some time, I've been subscribed to a number of RSS feeds in my Thunderbird desktop client. My TB build is 45.5.1 and my OS is Win10. The last RSS feeds that TB fetched were on 3 December. Nothing since then. When I click the "Get Messages" button, I still don't get the feeds. So, what happened that caused TB to stop fetching RSS feeds, and what can I do about it?

Yes, I do know that some RSS feeds change their urls from time to time, but I've checked several of them and they are good, at least as far as Feedly is concerned. It seems eerie that everything died on the same day. Any ideas?

thanks,

   larry p

I must start with it works for me. So we are looking for something specific to you.

Like get messages only gets the current account. Try pressing Shift +F5 to get messages for all accounts.

Next has your anti virus firewall decided a mail application does not need access to the internet on Ports like 80 and 443
