How to copy a photo.jpg on to a new email message? I just want to copy a picture onto an new message I am making. I know how to attach the photo - but I want to put the photo showing on the email page. When I go to paste the copy of the photo no Paste choice is available??? This used to be easy in the past but I don't see how to do it in Thunderbird!!! This email will be sent through my gmail address.

It is easy to add the image to this Post Question why not make it easy to add to the email??? Maybe I don't understand the gar-gone used today to post a picture on an email???

I finally found where and how to put a photo on my email page - I found in the Edit Menu an Insert Image or something (which I can't find it again)???

Now, I need to find out how to forward email without getting the following message from Thunderbird instead of the message I am forwarding???

I am over 65 and this email stuff just keeps getting harder and harder to do simple tasks I use to do on older software!

Quote from Thunderbird:

"Your message is ready to be sent with the following file or link attachments: Amanda & Brenda visiting Uncle Bob 1-8-17.jpg

Note: To protect against computer viruses, e-mail programs may prevent sending or receiving certain types of file attachments. Check your e-mail security settings to determine how attachments are handled."

That sounds more like Outlook to me.
