Every time Firefox is started, i have to go to Toolbars-Custom & just close custom to get the toolbar color correct. Help!

each time i start firefox - Surface Pro 4 with windows 10 - firefox starts with a portion of toolbar area in upper left with a white background, not the custom silver/gray background. i have to go to View - Toolbar - Custom and hit close. how do i fix this so i don't have to make the adjustment every time i start?
