Are you getting a notice on the login form, password box, as in the attached screenshot? That warning is normal for HTTP addresses (i.e., no green lock); it indicates that you are sending your login over an open connection where it can easily be stolen. If the site is completely free, that might not be an issue, but still, it's best to avoid losing control of any account.

Try using the site on an HTTPS address (secure connection) and see how it works for you:

By the way, your Firefox reported a surprising number of search-related extensions:

  • SafeSearch Incognito 2.24
  • Search and New Tab by Yahoo 2.0.0
  • Search Powered by Yahoo Engine 1.0
  • Yahoo Toolbar and New Tab 5.0.9

Do you recall installing all of those?? You can view, disable, and often remove unwanted or unknown extensions on the Add-ons page. Either:

  • Ctrl+Shift+a (Mac: Command+Shift+a)
  • "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
  • type or paste about:addons in the address bar and press Enter/Return

In the left column of the Add-ons page, click Extensions. Then cast a critical eye over the list on the right side. Any extensions that Firefox installs on its own are hidden from this page, so everything listed here is your choice (and your responsibility) to manage. Anything you don't use on a regular basis? If in doubt, disable.

Often a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox before the change takes effect. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
