Hello, to add more space to your 'top sites' go to about:config and change the number of the pref: browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.topSitesCount to the desired number. (Ignore the warning that says you will void your warranty, there is no warranty). If you have trouble finding the pref, you can search for it in the search bar on about:config.
