I just received over 3K emails from 2017 on my computer, has Thunderbird been hacked or was their a glitch in your programming?
Over 3K emails loaded into my email account. Don't know where they came from. Is it Thunderbird or a hack?

Thunderbird receives what is in your Inbox on your poviders server.
Are you saying that this was done by Comcast?
POP or IMAP?
POP seems to have a tendency to do this from time to time. It is often server related.
