Hi

Whenever I use print preview in Firefox, I end up printing 4 copies of each page automatically. I saw a couple of other topics about this, but they didn't resolve my issue. I couldn't find a preset option in the print dialogue (I'm guessing that's the page which comes up when I do print preview, or select print from the three lines menu on the top right of the browser?), and it's not one of the printer settings (it also doesn't happen on other browsers; only on Firefox). And I'm not sure where to find the option to change this in about:config. I'd appreciate any help with this.

Thanks!

Open the printer's options. It may have been told to print 4 copies at one point and that setting is still there.

Thanks for the reply. I cant find that option in the printer's settings (I'm using a Canon printer, if that helps), and it doesn't do it with other browsers. Is it something with Firefox? Thanks

You should uninstall and reinstall the Canon printer driver/software to insure it's no the cause. Browsers only use the Printer it is installed to use with.

Hi, yes do and if is a New Fancy Printer there maybe a Flash for it's bios. It also maybe running Microsoft Drivers as Win 10 can will replace all hardware Drivers. Which is normal if that is how they are installed.

Please let us know if this solved your issue or if need further assistance.

Thanks for all your replies. Ive tried uninstalling and reinstalling the drivers and it didn't make a difference. I was saving something to PDF using the Microsoft print to pdf setting, and it also does the extra copies, so I'm not sure if it's a printer issue. It also only does this with Firefox.

So what site is doing that or is it just specific sites?
