Date format setting is not respected. It always uses US format.
Thunderbird 60.2.1, Ubuntu.
Under 'Preferences: Advanced: Date and Time Formatting' there are two options:
- Application locale: English (United Kingdom)
- Regional settings locale: English (United States)
I have the first one selected, Actually I don't want either of them, I want ISO format, I've never lived in the UK nor the US, and I use a non-English keyboard. But regardless, it ignores the settings. Whichever one I choose, it gives me the braindead, utterly insane US date format. There is no polite way to describe that format. At least UK format would be tolerable.
Is there any way to change it?
