Installed Firefox this morning and it was running, loaded my profile and had to restart within minutes afterwards, then stopped working and won't run, Only shows in task manager

Already Tried most troubleshooting steps listed below:

- Reinstalled - Cleared out App Data folders - Rebooted multiple times - Moved back to a restore point - Tried flushing dns and winsock reset


Any further suggestions?

Note that doing a Windows System Restore can be dangerous.

Did you do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program folder? You can find the full version of the current Firefox release (66.0.3) in all languages and all operating systems here:


Boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support to see if that has effect in case security software is causing problems.

You can also do a malware scan.

I originally only installed the latest 66.0.3, it's a fresh laptop from work. Firefox originally worked aside of when I updated environment variables to use ADB (Android) command line.
