Timeout error when receiving mail from any email server

I get a 'server timeout' on any email service I use (mostly gmail/hotmail) in TB since around the beginning of June. Before that, everything seemed to work fine. I get this on both IMAP and POP3.

I've already tried (and it doesn't work): 1) Increasing timeout in TB 2) Checking password settings and unsafe apps access via webmail access (all ok) 3) Rebooting both OS (Win7) and TB in Safe Mode (no result) 4) Checking Windows Firewall (settings are in place)

I'm lost here.

PS. Receiving RSS in TB works just fine.
