I have cleared browser, refreshed Firefox and disabled Add-Ons.

Unfortunately, I am still receiving the "The Media could not be played" message for all videos on Twitter.

Everything works correctly in Chrome.

I even attempted to download the "Media Feature Pack" for Windows 10 (1903). Unfortunately, it is not available when I click Add Feature.

I believe this all started after I updated Windows 10 to 1903.

I have cleared browser, refreshed Firefox and disabled Add-Ons. Unfortunately, I am still receiving the "The Media could not be played" message for all videos on Twitter. Did you check the Web Console for possible error messages and warnings?

If you block (third-party) cookies very strict then you can get cross domain issues.

Just to be sure:

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
  • do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Safe Mode start window
