So, did you initiate a password reset for the Firefox Account ?
when I open Firefox the menu at top RH corner of screen has yellow danger ! sign. Open menu says 'reconnect to Firefox. I've forgotten firefox password so click accordingly; message says email with a link is on way. I sent you the email received which is not a lot of help in changing to new password.
