Hello!

Version of Thunderbird is 78.2.2. SmartTemplate4 doesn't work with new version. The signature text is missed. When I try to insert signature text through account parameters, it looks like this:

-- Hello, ! Best Regards, Alena

When I inserted signature text through SmartTemplate4, there weren't 2 hyphens above signature text.

I tried to install SmartTemplate-fx-3.0pre27.xpi but it doesn't work.

How can I fix it?

You can try quicktext add-on - this one is still working on this version (and you can apply many "templates" - signature, default text, and so on)
