A white bar completely covers the top of the browser. It is if the menu bar has disappeared. If I try and click where the menu bar should be I click right through the window to the other open applications below.

This has happened a few times and the only way to remedy it is to reboot the machine.

Image attached.

Any idea what is happening?

I am running firefox on windows 10 Version 84.0.2 (64-bit) (latest available)

Is this with all websites/pages, some, a few?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

Start your Computer in safe mode with network support. Then start Firefox. Try Secure websites. Is the problem still there?

Rebooting either in Safe Mode or via the regualar boot up routine fixes the issue but then it returns (every few days over the ast week or or two)

I have now reset the whole browser via the uninstall option on the app menu. I hope that fixes it but we shall see.

Hello, this happened again today. Its an intermittent problem, but when it strikes, the only solution is to reboot.

I have been a long term user of firefox and can't stomach changing browser, but unless this stops happening, I may need to switch :(

Do you have any suggestions for me?
