After the 85 update on Linux, Facebook and Instagram videos started playing choppy (low FPS), YouTube videos are fine though. They work okay on the Brave browser. I tried refreshing Firefox but it didn't help, so it's not from my add-ons.

Edit: Vimeo videos have the same problem.

Download the same version as the Flatpak and test.

Examples links of instagram videos would help us help you. Make sure you have the latest FFmpeg and libavcodec packages are updated. see screenshot

OMG!!!! That vimeo video was CRAZY!!! But, I had no issue with any of the videos. Can you try downloading a separate version of Firefox to a folder and run it to test?

Downloaded a .deb v84.0.1 package (I'm currently using flatpak v85) and it worked fine.. :| Why is it broken on flatpak, or is it because of the version.. :/

The Debian package just got updated on Pop!_OS to 85 and it seems that the problem comes from the Flatpak...
