This latest version of Thunderbird is garbage. Constantly crashing and you get the this program is "Not Responding". Been using the program for years and have been very happy with it. Now I'm thinking of dumping it.

Do you have crash IDs listed for the crashes you submitted? They would be listed in Help > Troubleshooting Information.
