When I click on a link in Outlook, Firefox does not start up and go to the link. For some reason, I cannot even copy and paste the links either.

I'm having the exact same problem. XP HOME, Firefox 3.6.3, Outlook 2003. I ignored the problem for the last couple of months, but now it's annoying that after clicking on the links, i have to physically switch to Firefox browser to view the link. When I switch to the already open browser, the new tab is already open.
Any help is appreciated.
