I can not get rid of Shareaza and get my old start-up page back.
For about 1 year I have had the same start-up page: Google with a space bar and above that I could chose different Goggle things- maps, mail, vidio, etc. Last night I downloaded Shareaza. Today when I turned on my computer my start-up page is compleatly changed, my start box(?) is different, there is no Mozillia icon, the words are SMALL and there is no Goggle. everything is different. I mean everything. Little symbls at the bottom of my screen are gone, the top of my computer has anouther bar taking up space, and the Shareaza symble is everywhere. Ok, fine I made a mistake, so I go to my control panel and uninstall Shareaza, restart and nothing. I still have no Goggle start-up page, I still have Shareaza symbles domanating my screen, I still have to search through Shareaza, the words are still small, my icons are gone; do you get the picture? I started useing Mozialla/Foxfire YEARS ago becouse I was told it was eaiser to novigate and you did not have a perverse need to change the look of your screens every week or so. While you have made some changes to how things look and I have never been happy when you have, at least I have had time to learn. I really, really, want my old start-up page back. I really do not want Shareaza on my computer. Can you please help?

I think i may have found a solution: I un-installed shareaza from add remove programs in the control panel, and still had their home page, i then proceeded to disable and un-install the media bar from firefox plug-ins which you can reach from the firefox drop down menu. then i wnet into my hard drive C:/program files locate a folder called "shareaza applications" or some such name inside you will find the media bar folder which has an un-install exe. un-install it. then you should be able to change your homepage back. it worked for me, but i'm no expert. So good luck and i hope you come right. I also then deleted that folder. Not sure that was necessary. but i didn't want anything of that vile program left in my system.
