After I type a URL in the address bar, I press Enter and nothing happens; however, it will load when i manually click the green arrow.

I just got a new computer. Asus A52F, running windows 7. When I type in a URL and press Enter, nothing happens. On my old computer, HP Dv6 with vista, I would do the same, press enter and the page would load.

If I manually click the green arrow it loads.

How can I sync the pushing of the Enter Key to the green arrow in order to load pages.

This is probably due to a problem with an add-on. For details of how to troubleshoot that see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes

Do you have AVG Safe Search? I have seen a report of that add-on causing this problem.

uninstall it completely and reinstall it back, that's what I had to do

just remember witch addons you have and back up your bookmark

I disabled safe search and it works!
