Upgraded to Firefox 4 and now when using Lotus Notes to check company e-mail it will not allow me to open or view attachments.

Although other users are having bigger problems (cannot even see mails) with LN and FF4, maybe this workaround also will do it for you: https://support.mozilla.com/de/questions/778689
